Pain Free Back: The
2000 Year Old Technique $35.00 from Sports
Touch
I have been an athlete all of
my life. About four years ago, I developed a hip problem,
which affected my lower back muscles as well. My golf game
started to suffer. I felt trapped by my body and thought my
sports life over. My brother saw Kate at a conference and told
me about her program for the release of lower back muscles,
which eliminates pain.
It has taken me two years to get to Kate but the difference
she has made in my golf game is unbelievable. My golf game
changed dramatically. My scores went from the low 90's to the
low 80's. My index dropped from 12.2 to 10.3 in 3 weeks. I am
consistently hitting the ball longer, and increasing my
distance. Best of all, my concentration has improved because I
don't have to think about my back pain, only my golf game.
Every person who plays golf should have this book. Thanks Kate
for lifting the sarcophagus off my body.

I have been on a search for over a
year for relief from the pain I was experiencing after a
series of falls while skiing. I had tried a variety of
approaches but none lasted more than 48 hours. I was in pain
24 hours a day. I heard Kate speak at a Women's Health
Symposium in San Diego. She was demonstrating back release
techniques. As I pressed the areas she was describing, I felt
my pain intensify. I thought, here was something I hadn't
tried. During my first session, she determined that my lower
back muscles were in spasm and twisting my hip. In the
two-hour session, she focused on these specific muscles and
then gave me homework to duplicate this session at home.
During the four days between my first and second session I was
pain free. My husband noticed a change in the sound of my
walk, more even. My voice was less tense and I was more
relaxed than I had been in over a year. The best thing I like
about Kate's program is that my body gives me instant
feedback. I didn't have to wait and hope that it would work -
the pain was reduced immediately. Kate has provided me with a
sensible and easy plan for rehabilitation. She puts it all in
perspective and makes it easy. Thanks Kate for giving me back
my life!

I am a mother of 6 active
children. In the past 5 years, I've had foot, knee and lower
back surgery. Each surgery precipitated another. After my knee
surgery, I herniated a disk in my lower back. Each sent me on
to another specialist. I was becoming extremely frustrated and
discouraged. Doesn't anyone believe in the song that I learned
as a child - your foot bone is connected to your knee bone,
your knee bone is connected to your hip bone, the hip bones
connected to the back bone etc. I was beginning to think I was
getting the quick fix and nothing was holding. Over the last
five years, my muscles weren't working because I was told to
stay in bed for three months. I was barely functioning. Then a
friend of mine told me about Kate. Life began to come back to
me. Her expertise with the muscles and the body as a whole got
me back to feeling great but I became once again a more
effective mother and wife. But best of all, Kate taught me how
to keep my body in balance. I had a program I could do it
anytime and anywhere. It took me minutes to check my muscles
and to do the techniques. She taught me my body was not
complicated. I became more patient, consistent in my exercise
routine and I had the knowledge to stay on top of my pain and
to ultimately how to care for myself. For this I can never
thank her enough.

Last spring I had one great
Saturday that changed my life forever. It started off with a 2
mile run with the dog, two hours planting the garden, and
later nine holes of golf. But later that night my back hurt.
The next day I could barely get out of bed for church. The
muscle spasms were intense and I lay back down in bed. Monday,
I had spasms of pain across my buttocks, and I could barely
step on my right foot. My doctor had no advice to offer me
other than to take pain pills, muscle relaxants and stay in
bed. This is difficult if you are a mother of five. While
waiting for an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon, I was
referred to Kate Montgomery. My friend swore Kate would have
me up and going again immediately. I was skeptical. In a two
and a half-hour session, she released the pain in my back and
buttocks, while teaching me how to do this to myself. I could
just feel the pain leaving. Afterwards, I was able to function
from that day on. This was amazing to me.
Now a year later, I have
learned more about my back than some medical professionals
seem to know. When I finally did see my Orthopedic Surgeon,
(the referral took 5 weeks) I was already feeling almost well.
When I asked him what his recommendations would have been, he
shrugged and said "complete bed rest for several weeks
and them physical therapy. Then, if you are still were in
pain, then pain medication and if that didn't work then
surgery." My experience had taught me that bed rest
wouldn't heal my back and surgery would only cause more
damage.
I felt fortunate to have found
Kate before I had a more devastating experience. I am happy to
be among the many whose healthy back is a direct result of
your healing hands.

I am a runner and very tall. In
high school I started having back pain. My mom took me to see
Kate and she discovered that I had a leg shorter than the
other. Through her examinations, she found my supporting
posture muscles to be in muscle spasm and throwing me off
balance. In my two hour session, I felt all the pain leave and
my legs became even again. When I stood up, I felt even.
Running was easier and without pain. Now, before I go out to
run, I check my back posture muscles to make sure they are
free of trigger points. Kate's program has allowed me to take
care of myself and focus on my running instead of back pain.
The benefit is, I am faster! I would recommend this book
wholeheartedly.
