to Submit a Sample for Hair
Analysis and Interpretation
We

When
you place your order for the Hair
Analysis and Interpretation, a kit will be
mailed to you with instructions. Once you mail
the sample in, it will take about three weeks for
you to receive your results.
Tissue mineral analysis is an inexpensive and most
helpful screening method to learn more about your
body chemistry and how to balance and strengthen it.
It is not a diagnostic test. It must be performed

Follow the three steps
below for submitting a sample.
Submitting a sample:
- Cutting the
sample. Carefully follow these instructions. The
accuracy depends on it! You will need a pair of
clean scissors, a comb, and the special envelope
included in the kit. Write your name and
age on the envelope.
The best place to cut the sample is head hair -
along the back of the head. Growth here is
steady and fast. Pubic hair or other body hair
will give adequate results, but they do not grow
as fast or as steadily.
Lift up a section of hair, preferably in the
back of the head. Separate a small area and cut
as close as possible to the scalp. For short
hair, use the entire sample. If the hair is over
1.5" long, cut off any hair that is over
1.5" and throw it away. Use only the root
end - the first 1.5" - of the sample. Place
the sample on a tablespoon.
Take several small samples from 3 or 4 different
locations and combine them to form the sample.
This will prevent leaving 'bald spots' and
provide a better sample. Collect enough hair in
the envelope (see envelope instructions on
establishing what is the right amount of
weight).
- Fill out the information
sheets provided with the kit. Please fill these out
completely. If you have other information to
include, send it along with these sheets.
- Mail the sample
and completed information sheets to the address
contained in the kit (Analytical Research Labs,

85021).
