Technical View on D-fraction
D-fraction is a highly standardized and purified beta-1,6
glucan (1,6 main chain with 1,3 branches in its chemical
structure) and beta-1,3 glucan (1,3 main
chain with 1,6 branches in its chemical structure)with about
30% of protein, extracted from Maitake mushroom fruit body.
D-fraction has the unique polysaccharide compound. The degree
of branching is greater than that of 1,3 beta-glucan often
found in other medicinal mushrooms. Researchers theorize that
the complexity of branching may make Maitake superior to other
beta-glucan products. An essential fact about the D-fraction
is that it is effective when consumed orally.
Research Updates on D-fraction
D-fraction is being studies not only in Japan, but also in the
United States by various prominent institutes. Some of the
recent studies indicates that D-fraction is possibly useful in
conjunction with conventional chemotherapeutic agents, by not
only improving the agent's positive benefits, but it also aids
in the amelioration of many of the side effects of the agents.
Product Specifications
Grifron® -Pro D-fraction®
contains 900mg pure Maitake D-fraction
compound. One drop of Grifron® -Pro D-fraction®
contains approximately 1mg of pure Maitake
D-fraction compound. The product is alcohol free. Grifron®
-Pro D-fraction® is available in 1 oz. and
2 oz. sizes.
Usage
For general use as a dietary supplement, 5-6 drops of Grifron®
-Pro D-fraction® three times daily between
meals. For maximum impact, Maitake D-fraction can be consumed
in amounts from 0.5 mg to 1.0 mg per kilo of body weight per
day. (Note: To find out your weight in kilos, multiply your
weight in pounds times 0.45. Example : 150 lb.= 68 kilos (150
x 0.45). The total daily amount derived from this maximum
dosing ranges 34 mg to 68 mg of pure D-fraction, which is
approximately equivalent to 34 to 68 drops of Grifron®
-Pro D-fraction® . Use as instructed by
your health-care professionals. The benefits of Maitake
D-fraction may be maximized if combined with whole Maitake
mushroom products.
Toxicity
To date there has been no evidence to suggest any toxicity for
either Maitake mushroom or the Maitake D-fraction both of
which are recognized as safe and laboratory test results
indicate no toxicity.
